The public is invited to join Rep. Nicole Lowen and guest presenters at 6 p.m. Tuesday to learn more about energy issues in West Hawaii. Guest presenters include representatives from Hawaii Electric Light Co., Blue Planet Foundation and Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism’s Office of Energy.

The public is invited to join Rep. Nicole Lowen and guest presenters at 6 p.m. Tuesday to learn more about energy issues in West Hawaii. Guest presenters include representatives from Hawaii Electric Light Co., Blue Planet Foundation and Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism’s Office of Energy.

The presentation is being held at the West Hawaii Civic Center’s Council Chambers.

An array of topics will be discussed including energy costs, grid modernization, circuit saturation and how to best fulfill the state’s energy needs moving forward. Following brief guest speaker presentations, there will be an opportunity for moderated questions for panelists and time for discussion.
